'Even if there isn't an award, I already feel like a winner.'

13 Jan – After being snubbed time and time again, Kenneth Ma finally emerged the winner of the Best Actor category at the TVB Anniversary Awards.

The actor, who won for his role in the medical drama,"Big White Duel", was surprised when he was named TV King, besting contenders Vincent Wong, Benjamin Yuen, Pakho Chau, and Joel Chan to win the accolade. "I'm quite shocked," he said during his acceptance speech, before proceeding to thank everybody for their support.

"Even if there isn't an award, I already feel like a winner. There are many strong contenders, so perhaps I was lucky," he said, adding that"Big White Duel" might have brought him his good fortune. It is noted that the actor was a fan favourite to win Best Actor back in 2017 for his performance in"The Exorcist's Meter", but lost to"Legal Mavericks" actor Vincent Wong.
