Sean Connery, 90, best known for playing the suave British secret service agent in the James Bond film series, has died.The Scottish actor died overnight in his sleep, while in the Bahamas, said the BBC. It is understood he had been unwell for some time.
Connery, who was knighted in 2000, was raised in near poverty in the slums of Edinburgh and worked as a coffin polisher, milkman and lifeguard before his bodybuilding hobby helped launch an acting career that made him one of the world’s biggest stars.
