According to Benedict, he started planning his big proposal before Easter last year.

, 51, who shared on his Instagram last week that he proposed to his Thai girlfriend, Bib Sirisambhand, who works in the hotel industry.from 1995 to 1997. He left Mediacorp in 1998 at the end of his contract with Mediacorp, which was then known as Television Corporation of Singapore.According to Benedict, he started planning everything before Easter last year when he asked a close friend of Bib for her opinion on which engagement ring he should buy. However, the pandemic messed up his plans.

Still, Benedict soldiered on, and eventually proposed to Bib at The Siam hotel in Thailand last week. Judging from his Instagram posts, Benedict is believed to have flown over to Thailand in late November this year.Apart from the couple’s close friends, their pooch Muffin was also present for the big event.

In his caption, Benedict mentioned Muffin, adding a hashtag for the poodle after this sweet statement: ”I’m very much looking towards the next chapter of our lives together“.Bib also shared the good news on IG as well. In her post, she revealed that she did not know about the proposal and that Benedict had successfully surprised her.
