An elderly woman was taken to hospital after she fell down and got injured while alighting from a bus on Saturday morning (Jan 15).A Stomper was at the bus stop in front of Block 36 Holland Drive at around 9.30am when he noticed a commotion.He shared photos of the scene and said:"An elderly woman lost her balance while alighting from the bus and fell down. She suffered head injuries and was sent to hospital in an ambulance."

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at the bus stop at around 8.55am and conveyed one person to National University Hospital.
