Rohingyas living in Malaysia protest against the treatment of Myanmar's Rohingya Muslims near the Myanmar embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia September 8, 2017. LONDON: International donors pledged nearly US$600 million to support displaced Rohingya on Thursday , succeeding in bridging a huge gap in funding for hundreds of thousands of refugees.

Dozens have died this year while embarking on perilous journeys by boat to Malaysia seeking better lives.
