SINGAPORE — Disciplinary action has been taken against schoolgirls seen in a viral video fighting at a public car park, said the Ministry of Education on Tuesday .

In response to TODAY’s queries, MOE said: “The school is aware of the incident and has taken educative actions, including the appropriate disciplinary measures.”TODAY understands the incident took place a week ago.In the 30-second video, two girls are seen hitting and kicking a girl in a blue school uniform while another watches the fight unfold at a housing estate multi-storey car park.

One of the two girls shouted “I also not happy with you” before hitting out at the girl in school uniform. At this point, the second girl pulled the girl’s hair from behind, threw her to the ground before repeatedly hitting her on the head and kicking her, including once on the face.

Bullying is not going to be tolerated

Throw all of them into juvenile jail

this is more than jus disciplinary matter. police report needed esp agst that girl in civilian dress. she was vicious in her cowardice attack.

Disciplinary actions only I thought fighting in public is illegal So shouldn't legal action be taken against them..?

MOE should counsel these girls rather than taking disciplinary action.

Vicious! Surely these 2 bullies will be expelled and sent to Girls Home. Future ITE students.

Gosh…

Today: trash journalism. Why do you even show the video?

So our education system is producing MMA exponents or worst. These are girls!

The girl in short pants was so violent, she continued to beat the girl in uniform even the girl fell down. Even kicked on her face! She deserves a big tight slap 👋🏻!

Disciplinary action? I bet it is not enough to make a good impression on them. Shitty parenting, I am sure, plays a big part in this.

First thing MOE think of is disciplinary action, not well being of students.

Sad to say, I see K1 girls bully K1 boy on the playground. It’s not right that parents just watch from the side.

Ohh Singapore! Why I’m not surprised? 🤣🤣🤣
