Denza, a premium sub-brand 90 per cent owned by BYD and 10 per cent owned by Mercedes-Benz, will debut with the D9 multi-seater – a car aimed squarely at the popular Toyota Alphard.Denza will be housed in a new BYD showroom being renovated at 305 Alexandra Road.
BYD, which currently operates out of a smaller showroom on the second floor, will move to this first-floor facility opposite the Peugeot showroom on July 19. Zeekr is owned by Geely, while XPeng is independent. Both will be represented here by Premium Automobiles, which is owned by Indonesian businessman Hadi Tanaga.
