SINGAPORE 一 Parents, schools and society at large are “ill-equipped” to deal with young people facing mental health issues, President Halimah Yacob said on Friday (July 23), in response to the death of a 13-year-old boy at River Valley High School. A 16-year-old fellow student, who attempted suicide two years ago, has been charged with murder.

Pls stay healthy everybody, we can get through this pandemic. Thats because the education system in Singapore is extremely competitive and almost all employers are stereotyping those did not do well academically, even in government sector. Thats why these academically poor people are usually entrepreneurs. Thats the life of Singaporeans.

So does it mean school will employ 5 more Councillor per school to help? Then load them with other jobs? “Society too imposes high expectations on our children, particularly on those who seem to be doing well academically,' wrote President Halimah Yacob in a Facebook post. Mental health is everyone's issue, and the pandemic is only making things worse.

That's because no one can or wants to believe that children and teens can experience mental health issues. I mean, how can one not suffer mental health issues with the amount of stress parents and society place on them. I don't think it is just youth mental health issues, but mental health issues in general.
