Eventually, the airport, seaport, office buildings, malls, hospitals and educational institutions, can use faster test kits and breathalysers to screen staff and visitors, said the ministers.Wastewater testing will be used to find out if there are hidden infections in dormitories, hostels or housing estates.

Everyone would need to practise good personal hygiene, stay away from crowds and the workplace when we feel unwell, thereby reducing transmission, they added.“With vaccination, testing, treatment and social responsibility, it may mean that in the near future, when someone gets COVID-19, our response can be very different from now,” the ministers said.

can't compare to israel. wait til you see delta variant reach their shores . and israel is 9million population with country size 30x spore. we have been wrong too many times with covid. do more thorough research before putting lives at risk

At the end of the day, it would depend on the efficacy of the vaccine.Not to forget, there are countries that has high vaccination rate but are now falling prey to the new variant.

so what about those people who cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons and younger children below vaccination age?
