Ivermectin is used to treat several types of parasitic infections. It works by interfering with a parasite’s nervous system to paralyse and ultimately kill it. Such phenomena are why we so often hear about experiments claiming new cancer cures, with much less progress in their actual treatment of people.There are some promising findings in critically ill patients, but more high-quality data needs to be collected, particularly for those with mild or silent COVID. That’s currently in progress.

Moderna says COVID-19 vaccine protection wanes, makes case for boosterCHICAGO (Reuters) -New data from Moderna Inc's large COVID-19 vaccine trial shows that the protection it offers wanes over time, supporting the case for booster doses, the company said in a news release on Wednesday.
