In a time of coronavirus, New Zealand’s prime minister offers four important lessons in leadership, says the Financial Times' Pilita Clark.

Then came a question that went something like this: In New Zealand, where they have had just two COVID-19 deaths per million people , prime minister Jacinda Ardern has just said she and her ministers would take ato show solidarity with those struggling financially because of the outbreak. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern speaks during a joint press conference held with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison in Sydney, Australia on Feb 28, 2020.
