SINGAPORE: Households will only be able to receive a maximum of eight visitors per day from Jan 26 given the recent rise in community COVID-19 cases and the possible risk of transmission during the Chinese New Year period.

Currently, up to eight visitors are allowed in each household at any one time, with no limit on the number of homes they can visit. The maximum group size for social gatherings outside the house will remain at eight, for now, said the Ministry of Health in a media release. Mr Wong noted that singing and other live performances are already not allowed at F&B establishments and work-related events where food is served.
