SINGAPORE - More than a third of food delivery riders working for the three major food delivery firms in Singapore have applied to trade in their e-scooters for grants of up to $1,000, the Land Transport Authority said on Friday .

"We are glad that between one-third and half have come forward in the first week since the e-scooter Trade-in Grant commenced, to trade in their devices." Riders will have to trade-in their e-scooters by the end of the year to qualify for the eTG, which began on Nov 15.
