UPDATE: All 4 new COVID cases in Singapore imported; 2 places added to list of venues

All four cases are imported – and all but one are asymptomatic and were proactively detected, said the MOH.

All of them had been placed on the stay-home notice upon their arrival here and were tested while serving the notice.— Yahoo Singapore October 19, 2020 The MOH said the number of new cases in the community has remained stable at four cases a week in the past two weeks. The ministry added Jurong Point and a FairPrice outlet at 114 Aljunied Avenue 2 to a list of COVID-19 public venues visited by community cases while infectious. Jurong Point was visited on 10 October from 6.35pm to 8pm, while the FairPrice outlet was visited the next day from 7.35pm to 8.05pm.

99% of total cases have recovered; none in ICUWith 12 more patients discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities on Monday, 57,819 cases – or 99.8 per cent of the total – have fully recovered from the infection.
