Registration for admission to K1 for the new kindergartens opening in 2026 and 2027 will take place in February of the year prior to their opening, with more details to be released in early 2025 and 2026. All MOE kindergartens offer the three Mother Tongue Languages - Chinese, Malay and Tamil - to encourage bilingualism in children's early years and help lay a strong foundation for language learning in the later years. Pupils from MOE kindergartens will enjoy priority admission to the primary schools that they are located within and benefit from a smooth transition from kindergarten to Primary 1 within the same environment.
