The infections include the number of Protocol 2 cases, after the Ministry of Health changed its daily reporting structure on Friday.

Two sets of numbers will be reported every day — one for the infections confirmed by polymerase chain reaction tests, and another for the Protocol 2 cases. The weekly infection growth rate is 2.75, up from Saturday's 2.64. A figure above 1 means that the number of new weekly cases is rising. Another 2,007 cases were confirmed via PCR tests. A total of 1,577 cases were local infections while 430 were imported.Case numbers have been backdated to Jan 6 when general practitioners started to order Protocol 2, for the purposes of calculating the total number of infections in Singapore as well as the week-on-week increase in infection numbers.There are 433 patients in hospital, with 29 requiring oxygen supplementation. Nine patients are in the intensive care unit.
