Chew Chor Meng’s Exchange With This Young Fan Who Asked If He’s “The Guy On Channel 8 Television” Is So Cute

Meet Chew Chor Meng, 53, or well, according to this young fan, “the guy on Ch 8 television”.

On May 24, Chor Meng took to his Instagram to share this adorable conversation he had with a young boy, who presumably approached the actor while he was at the Yishun outlet of his 888 Mookata chain. Chor Meng co-owns the stall with Dennis Chew.

Here’s the full conversation, translated into English:

“[This] little boy asked me,
Uncle are you the guy on Channel 8 television?
- I said yes.
- Then can I take [a] photo with you?
- I said sure, but hor, after that, you have to send it to me okay?
-Ok.
And just like that, we took a photo.”

Cute, right?

In his caption, Chor Meng also added a couple of hashtags, revealing that the young boy was “very cute and very polite”.

“Maybe he’ll say that he grew up watching my shows in the future,” Chor Meng went on to muse, adding: “I didn’t get his permission to post this, hope he won’t be angry.”

Honestly? Rather than angry, we’re pretty sure that the boy will be really happy to see that he made it onto Chor Meng's Instagram.
