A third COVID19 case has been linked to man who went to work at Changi Airport, 2 other community cases reported today are unlinked

The latest case was asymptomatic, but he had already been placed on quarantine, said MOH.A 46-year-old Chinese national's infection was detected through regular testing of workers in the construction, marine and process sectors.

"Overall, the number of new cases in the community has remained stable at an average of fewer than one case per day in the past two weeks," said MOH. The Singaporean and permanent resident had returned from Indonesia and India respectively, while the work permit holders travelled from the Philippines.The remaining 16 cases involve migrant workers living in dormitories. Ten of them had already been quarantined as they were identified as contacts of previous cases, while six were detected through surveillance testing.​​​​​​​

Several shopping malls, including AMK Hub, 313@somerset, Orchard Central and Westgate, were among the locations added on Wednesday to the list of public places visited by community cases during their infectious period.Singapore has announced that it will further ease some COVID-19 restrictions.
