Hongkong 'Socialite Queen' Fanny Sieh Injured In “Traumatic Car Accident"

Hongkong socialite Fanny Sieh, 57, took to her Facebook on September 14 to share that she was involved in a “traumatic car accident”.

Her post was accompanied by a picture of herself lying on a stretcher and with a neck brace on.

Fanny went on to recount in her post that the accident had taken place when the taxi in front of her suddenly rapidly stopped in the middle of the road”.

Like any responsible driver, Fanny reacted immediately, and stepped on the brakes. However, the car behind her failed to stop in time, and ended up rear-ending Fanny’s car.

As Fanny was caught in between the two vehicles, she suffered injuries from the accident. The driver of the car behind her was not injured, while the taxi immediately fled the scene. To make matters worse, according to Fanny, the impact from the crash was so “forceful”, she believes the driver must have stepped on the accelerator at high speed.”

I suffered whiplash neck and back injuries from this traumatic car accident. On my road to recovery now,” she wrote.

Fanny, who used to be an actress and model, is known as the “socialite queen” of Hongkong. In her youth, she was known as Hongkong's 'Ball Queen', which coincidentally is her IG handle.

She is also the co-founder of Maximal Concepts, which operates a number of renowned restaurants in Hongkong, including Mott 32, which has a branch in Marina Bay Sands.

Fanny was married to billionaire William Ma, who is the chairman of the Tai Sang Bank Corporation, and they have three kids together. One of her sons, Justin, was said to be dating actress Scarlett Wong, who is best known for being the sister of disgraced Hongkong actress Jacqueline Wong.

Fanny has also been accused of being addicted to plastic surgery, with some saying that she had so much work done to her face, she's become unrecognisable.
