Chinese Host He Jiong’s Sexuality Becomes Hot Topic Among Netizens After He Was Snapped Behaving Affectionately With A Man

He Jiong, possibly China's most influential and popular host, is best known for helming variety show Happy Camp for the past two decades. As with any celeb, his love life is also constantly under scrutiny despite his best efforts to keep his personal life to himself.

However, the 46-year-old’s attempts to keep his romantic pursuits under the radar have gone out the window in the past 24 hours after snaps of him going to a hotel with a mystery man were published.

He Jiong, whose face was clearly visible as he was not wearing a mask, was seen behaving very affectionately with the man.

These photos have gone viral along with discussions about He Jiong's sexuality.

Over the years, the host has been rumoured to be romantically involved with both male and female stars, including his Happy Camp co-host Xie Na and Chinese actor Fei Qi Ming.

With these new photos, some netizens are saying that He Jiong is not hiding his sexuality anymore, especially since he isn't wearing a mask to hide his identity.

Others claim that the mystery man is He Jiong's manager and that reporters should stop trying to sensationalise the pics .

There are also netizens who are showing support for He Jiong. Regardless of who he's dating, it's none of our business as long as he's happy. Why pry when it's his life to live? said one, while another wrote: Even if the rumours of him being gay are true, whoever leaked these photos and forced him out of the closet should be careful of being struck by lightning.

Some years back there were also rumours that He Jiong is married to a woman named Wang Jing though he refuted those claims in 2012, blasting talk of him being married as “insane”.

It's not even clear if Wang Jing actually exists as the pics circulating of her show two very different-looking women.

He Jiong has yet to respond to media queries on his relationship with the man with whom he visited the hotel, and industry insiders say that it is unlikely that he will do so as any response would likely trigger another round of speculation online.
