Moses Chan Seen Staring Helplessly At Empty Supermarket Shelves In Hongkong

As COVID-19 rages across the world, panic buyers in Hongkong have been sweeping supermarkets clean of sanitation supplies and daily necessities.

In fact, toilet paper has become such a precious commodity, celebs like Hongkong actor Moses Chan and his wife, Hongkong actress Aimee Chan, have been struggling to secure a roll despite a couple of visits to the supermarket.

Moses was recently spotted on a supermarket run by a fan, who noticed that the actor was staring helplessly at a row of empty shelves. He was also on the phone, presumably telling Aimee about the situation at the supermarket.

According to the fan, the 48-year-old had headed to the fresh food area first and had taken his time pick and choose his fruits and vegetables. He then made his way to the household supplies aisle where he was greeted by empty shelves. Turns out, all the toilet paper had been snapped up before he got there.

Moses, who was on the phone the whole time, was then seen circling the area, probably hoping for a restock. But he eventually gave up after a few rounds and headed for the checkout.

The fan then approached Moses to ask if he managed to buy the stuff he wanted. Yeah! Moses said.

“Do you have enough masks? You have so many people in your family,” the concerned fan continued asked, to which Moses, who has three kids with Aimee — Aiden, six, Nathan, four, and Camilla, three — replied: “It's okay! It’s not a big problem!”
