PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has challenged the Park Lane reference under the amended NAB law, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An application filed by PPP Co-chairman in an accountability court in Islamabad on Sunday said the court had no jurisdiction to hear the reference. So the court should send the reference back to NAB or exonerate him, he prayed the court. Asif Zardari has already got relief from accountability courts in Thatta Water Supply and Rs8 billion transaction references.
In Mega Money Laundering reference case, the court had reserved judgement on Asif Zardari’s request for relief.
