Police sources informed on Monday that some unknown scoundrel in Muhallah Katcha Talab threw acid on the face of a woman.
According to details, an unidentified miscreant knocked at the door of the victim, Afshan. When she opened the door, the scoundrel threw acid on her face and ran away.Police informed that the victim was mother of three kids. They said they were still looking for the motive behind the crime.The Punjab IG Police took notice of the incident and summoned a detailed report of the incident from Gujranwala regional police officer. He said that police would apprehend the outlaw soon.
