The widely-anticipated CPI report prompted a Wall Street rally, with the Nasdaq surging nearly three percent on Wednesday. The broad-based S&P 500 advanced 0.7 percent to 4,239.50, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 0.8 percent to 13,497.25. "It is highly unlikely that Main Street has the same celebratory sense when it comes to inflation," said Briefing.com analyst Patrick O'Hare.
