MULTAN – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi fired on Sunday a broadside at the Pakistan Democratic Movement .
Mr Qureshi lashed out at the political opponents, claiming that “By disassociating Imran Khan, the looters were given a clean-chit.” Recalling the demand of general elections, Mr Qureshi said there was a dire need of snap and transparent general elections”. Mr Qureshi also schooled NA speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, saying, "Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was following the agenda that was assigned to him."
"The rulers want to take power by ending the corruption cases against them. The nation was also witnessing how the corruption cases against the leaders were kept on ending." Taking a dig at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo, Nawaz Sharif, Mr Qureshi said, "Nawaz escaped the country with an excuse of illness."Continuing to flay Nawaz Sharif, Mr Qureshi said, "Soon the convicted person will be brought back to the country with hospitality."
