A PIA passenger plane crashed on a populated area just before landing at the Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Friday afternoon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
But Abdul Sattar Khokar, the Civil Aviation Authority , told AFP that they were trying to confirm the number of passengers “but initially it is 99 passengers and eight crewmembers”. Before the tragic incident, the captain first informed the air traffic control about developing some technical fault after which the plane vanished from the radar as the contact was lost just one minute before the crash. The captain lost control of the plane, sources say.
