According to the ISPR, the security forces launched a search operation against terrorists belonging to at 6am.
The intelligence agencies have been looking for the terrorists after the blast in Kohlu Bazaar on September 30, 2022. Two passers-by were martyred while 19 injured in the blast. The BLA terrorists were involved in kidnap of ransom incidents, extortion and attacks on security forces. In addition, they were also involved in targetting engineers and workers engaged in development projects in Balochistan.
The security forces received information that these terrorists are planning to carry out attacks in Kohlu, Kahan and Mewand. The forces launched the operation and had an exchange of heavy fire with them. As a result, nine terrorists were killed while three were injured and arrested.
