Addressing a press conference on Saturday, she said that Shireen Mazari was arrested in the case registered during the PTI tenure."Shireen Mazari has been arrested by policewomen, but I was arrested by policemen," she added.
The PML-N leader said that she was arrested despite being innocent."I was detained at Adyala Jail for four months after being arrested before my father. I was detained in death cell, but I did not played the card of oppression," she added. Maryam Nawaz said that the PTI leaders are praising the courts whom they used to criticize after the verdict was announced in their favour.
She said that the Article 6 should be applied to Imran Khan for violating the constitution."If Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz had broken the constitution, our bodies would have been hanged at a crossroads," she added. She said that Nawaz Sharif is not the 'Ladla' of the system, but he is the favourite of the people."I cannot term the person who caused destruction in the country an Einstein. I do not want to look at the person like Imran Khan," she concluded.
