wardens across Punjab will be promoted to the rank of senior traffic wardens while 70 senior traffic wardens will be promoted to the rank of DSP Traffic.
IG Punjab said that traffic wardens serving on roads are a very important force of Punjab Police and every possible step would be taken for their better welfare and departmental promotions. IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that the traffic police personnel perform their duties diligently in the scorching heat and all possible steps would be taken for their welfare. He directed the traffic wardens to work diligently for the betterment of the flow of traffic and convenience of the citizens.
IG Punjab said that the improvement in the service structure of the traffic police would improve the morale of force and therefore process should be completed without any delay.
