The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued the election code of conduct. Local and foreign media and commentators will not express bias and preferences for any political party or candidate.
According to the code of conduct, the national media will take full care of Pakistan's ideology and sovereignty during the election campaign. The media will not air biased opinions against the independence and integrity of the security, judiciary and other national institutions. The election media campaign will be terminated 48 hours before the election day. The international media and observers have been asked to submit their visa applications on time, as they will not be able to stay in Pakistan beyond the visa period.
