Cutting-edge technology shines at International Digital Economy Expo

Shijiazhuang - A majority of well-known enterprises in the field of digital economy from China and abroad showed a number of core and cutting-edge technologies at the 2019 China International Digital Economy Expo that opened Friday in Shijiazhuang, capital city of Hebei Province.Scientific and technological products like robots, driverless cars and artificial intelligence devices were displayed.

One of the highlights of the expo is 5G technology which can make people feel that future life is full of possibilities. Visitors can use a small object that looks like a normal magnifying glass to turn an old movie poster into a moving movie clip in just a few seconds. "The image on the screen is identified by the cloud platform, and then the platform transmits the corresponding short film to the mirror to realize such a function," said Wang Xu, a worker of the exhibition hall.

The expo attracted more than 500 well-known Internet companies to showcase their latest technologies, products, services and business models in the field of digital economy. "The influence brought by digitalization is seen through the whole process. Attending the expo is really an opportunity for us to broaden our horizon and provide a lot of references and ideas for us to re-plan the digitalization strategy in the future," said Lu Lijun, a representative of exhibitors.
