RAWALPINDI: The Indian Army Chief claim of destroying of terror camps in AJK has been debunked as Pakistan arranged the visit of foreign diplomats to the site but Indian envoy distant away and not become the part of the visiting team.

“Claims by the Indian Army Chief remain just that ‘claims’ … The Indian side has not joined us in the visit to LoC neither have they provided coordinates of the alleged ‘launchpads’,” Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said in a series of tweets early on Tuesday. The diplomats and accompanying media personnel were given a tour of the affected areas and were shown remnants of the shells fired by Indian forces.

Nine Indian soldiers were killed, while one Pakistani soldier and five civilians were martyred as the two sides exchanged heavy fire in Jura, Shahkot and Nousheri sectors.
