MANILA - The Yuchengco Group of Companies said on Tuesday its employees will continue to get their salary despite the suspension of business operations because of the COVID-19 lockdown.

The Group includes RCBC, Grepalife, Pacific Plans, Mapua Institute of Technology, Malayan Insurance and several other construction, healthcare and financial services firms.

“I would like to reassure that all employees of the Yuchengco Group of Companies will continue to have jobs and none will be laid off and will continue to receive their full monthly salary, not charged to their 13th month pay,” YGC chairperson Helen Yuchengco Dee said in a letter to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello.
