NEGROS Occidental police failed to serve the warrant of arrest issued by a municipal trial court against the four Yanson siblings who avoided arrest by claiming to be abroad.
Police Lt. Col. Anthony Gantang, officer-in-charge of CIDG-Negros Occidental, said in a report to the court that accused were not in their homes, as they claimed to be abroad, when the police served the warrant of arrest on May 31 and June 1. Aside from the Yanson siblings, the court also issued the arrest of their alleged accomplices Jerica Leanne Ramos, Jerina Louise Ramos, Ma. Judy Alcala, Police Gen. Noli Romana and PCol. Jomil John Trio. Judge Bayona has set the bail at P36,000.00 for each respondent.
