Xavier University produces alcohol for COVID-19 frontliners

To address the dwindling supply of alcohol, Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan Chemistry Department has produced 70 percent ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol to be given to medical frontliners.

The Biology Department of Xavier University also donated absolute ethanol. The university will also coordinate with its departments for a possible mass production of the alcohol.
