WATCH: PGH celebrates release of critically-ill child who survived COVID-19

MANILA — The Philippine General Hospital celebrated the release of a young patient who recovered from COVID-19.

“Celebrating the discharge of the very first critically-ill pediatric COVID-19 survivor at the Philippine General Hospital after 30 days!” Del Rosario posted on social media. “It takes total TEAM effort to make this happen with God’s grace. Kudos to PGH Pedia COVID-19 Team!” he added.The staff also handed him red balloons and bags of goodies, prompting the boy to weep.

this will show the risks of the virus to school children, pls dont let schools open this august, it really is too early. THANK YOU drs and nurses and all healthworkers for giving this child a second life! you are all heroes!!!
