MAYNILA — Nag-abiso ang Commission on Elections sa publiko nitong Lunes na suspendido muna ang voter registration sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng modified enhanced community quarantine .
Kabilang dito ang National Capital Region , Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna at Rizal o NCR Plus, na MECQ hanggang katapusan ng buwan. Suspendido din ang voter registration sa Santiago City, Isabela, Abra, Quirino at sa iba pang mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng MECQ. Ayon sa Comelec, kasabay ng suspensiyon ng voter registration sa mga naturang lugar ay suspendido din muna ang voter’s certification. Magpapatuloy naman ang voter registration at certification sa iba pang bahagi ng bansa na nasa ilalim na ng general community quarantine at MGCQ.
