Jaja Santiago capped her second season in the Japan V.

Premier League with a bronze medal finish as she helped the Saitama Ageo Medics sweep Denso Airybees, 25-22, 25-22, 25-20, in the battle for third on Sunday.

The Filipina import delivered 10 points off nine attack and a kill block as the Ageo Medics bounced back mightily from a sorry straight sets loss to JT Marvelous in the Final Four the day before. Croatian Katarina Barun led the way for the Ageo Medics with 24 points collected from 22 attacks and two blocks while Yuri Yoshino added 16 markers.

The 6-foot-5 Santiago played for the Ageo Medics for the second straight year and helped the squad climb to a podium finish after closing last season's campaign at seventh spot. The Ageo Medics finished the regular season with a 13-8 win-loss record to advance in the Final 8. The squad landed at second spot in the Final 8 Group A following a five-set win over NEC Red Rockets last week to set up a semifinals clash with Group B top seed JT Marvelous. This story originally appeared on the ABS-CBN Sports website.
