Valdez, who plays for Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League, will join Jia Morado, Jasmine Nabor, Kath Arado, Dawn Macandili, Ces Molina, Mylene Paat, Eya Laure, Majoy Baron, Roselyn Doria, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Maddie Madayag, Aby Maraño and Grethcel Soltones.
Valdez missed the first leg last week held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand due to an ankle injury she sustained during training. Four teams including the Nationals will compete in the three-day event serving as a training ground for the 30Participating teams are first leg winner Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
The PH team clashes with Vietnam on Friday, followed by Thailand on Saturday and Indonesia on Sunday. Powerhouse Thailand boasts of a lineup composed mostly of players who won the SEA Games gold medal in the 2017 Kuala Lumpur that include Pleumjit Thinkaow, Wilavan Apinyapong, Pornpun Guedpard, Piyanut Pannoy, Chatchu-on Moksri and Pimpichaya Kokram.
