MANILA -- All scheduled immigrant and non-immigrant visa interviews from April 7 until May 4, 2020 are canceled due to the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, the US Embassy in the Philippines sai

"We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time," the embassy said in a statement. "After the enhanced community quarantine is lifted in Metro Manila all affected applicants should reschedule their visa interviews through the Embassy call center by phone at 7792-8988 and 8548-8223, or through the online appointment system at ustraveldocs.com/ph," it added.

The embassy said there will be no fee to change an appointment and visa application fees are valid for one year in the country where the fee was paid. President Rodrigo Duterte placed the country under the state of calamity and extended the Luzon lockdown until April 30 to contain the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.
