The United States Embassy in Manila has again canceled all immigrant and non-immigrant interviews scheduled through June 11 due to the existing community quarantine measures to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In an advisory issued on Thursday , the U.S. Embassy said it will resume all routine visa services “as soon as possible” but did not provide any specific date.

All affected visa applicants are advised to reschedule their interviews through the Embassy call center after the community quarantine is lifted. Last May 20, the U.S. Embassy announced the temporary suspension of all its routine consular services during the modified enhanced community quarantine period over the national capital region.

Included in the suspension are services for U.S. citizens including passport, citizenship, notary, and legal capacity to marry services. For visa operations, the embassy canceled all routine immigrant and non-immigrant visa appointments as of March 20, 2020, but will continue to provide emergency, mission-critical visa services as resources and local conditions allow.
