MANILA — University of the Philippines climbed to No. 65 among Asia's top universities, according to rankings released Wednesday by London-based education publication Times Higher Education .

MANILA — University of the Philippines climbed to No. 65 among Asia's top universities, according to rankings released Wednesday by London-based education publication Times Higher Education .

UP and De La Salle University, which placed in the 301 to 350 bracket, were the only Philippine universities listed in this year's THE Asia University Rankings. UP climbs 30 points to 65ᵗʰ rank among top universities in Asia, a significant rise from last year’s 95ᵗʰ ranking.— University of the Philippines June 3, 2020China's Tsinghua University remained at the top of the list.

Times Higher Education, which has been ranking universities since 2004, said its list was based on 13 performance indicators grouped into the following areas: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.
