UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Manila graduates, led by topnotcher Jomel Garcia Lapides, dominated the November 2020 Physician Licensure Examination based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission in the early hours of Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Of the 4,704 examinees, PRC said 3,538 or about 75 percent passed the examination given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.Among those who passed is Janine Patricia “Tricia” Robredo, a daughter of Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo.
In a Twitter post Thursday morning, Robredo said, “Our children’s achievements are always sweeter than our own. Congratulations, Trish. Thank you for making us proud many times over.”Seven other UP Manila graduates were among the 20 examinees who landed in the top 10 slots.Jomel Garcia Lapides - 88.67 percentHenrick Ryan Fong and Raphael Cecilio Rodolfo - 88.33 percent.Hannah Chito , Chino Paolo Samson and Tiffany Grace Uy - 88.08 percentCzarina Angelli Anastacio and Ernest Paul Calasanz - 87.
John Raphael Almanza , Christian John Capirig , Markyn Jared Kho and Chelsea Colleen Paris - 87.58 percent. Registration for the issuance of professional ID and certificate of registration will be done online from January 11 to January 29, 2021.
