MANILA—The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons may have lost their chance to return to the UAAP finals but head coach Bo Perasol would take the improvement on Kobe Paras' personality as a consolation.
So despite missing the finals, the coach said he was still happy with the way the season ended with Paras overcoming his "old self." Perasol recounted how Paras would throw tantrums if he is benched during a game before; but in the UST game, the athletic cager initiated to let his teammates play. Perasol also lauded the sacrifices made by his team in the entire season, given difficulties the had to face even before the started.
