“Ineng” may continue to enhance the southwest monsoon or “habagat”, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported Thursday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa reported that Ineng was located at 840 km east of Casiguran, Aurora, with maximum sustained winds of 65km/hr near the center and gustiness of up to 80km/h. It is moving west-northwest at a speed of 15 kph. Ineng is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday or early Sunday morning.Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms is expected over the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Apayao, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya.
PAGASA advised the public to continue monitoring the weather condition and the next advisory to be issued.
