Former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV on Tuesday posted a ₱10,000 bail for the charge of conspiracy to commit sedition filed against him by the government.
On February 14, the court issued warrants of arrest against Trillanes; Peter Joemel Advincula, alias"Bikoy"; Joel Saracho; Boom Enriquez; a certain"Monique;" Yolanda Ong; Vicente Romano III; Fr. Albert Alejo; Fr. Flaviano Villanueva; Jonnel Sangalang; and Eduardo Acierto for supposedly violating Article 141 of the Revised Penal Code.
The former lawmaker expressed confidence that such"empty" case, which he claims would bring to total 19 court cases he is currently facing, will not progress in court.
