Manila’s homeless, who have found shelter during the enhanced community quarantine, have recently banded together to assist in efforts to fight the COVID-19Around 150 homeless volunteers repacked over 3,000 relief packages to be distributed to other urban poor communities all over Metro Manila. All packages were sanitized before being dispatched.

This is part of the joint initiative between De La Salle Philippines and the Divine Word Missionaries. Meanwhile, De La Salle Philippines President Br. Armin Luistro, FSC has likewise shared they will soon open all 16 La Salle campuses as temporary havens during the pandemic.
