— A duo suspected to be guns for hire and believed to be behind or have knowledge about the killings of two municipal employees were collared by police in a checkpoint on Thursday afternoon.

They were riding a Honda TMX 125 motorcycle without a license plate and were seen roaming around Brgy. Angatel, with a caliber .45 firearm and two magazines fully loaded with ammunition tucked into the waistband of the backrider.Urbiztondo Mayor Raul Martin Sison II recently appealed to President Rodrigo Duterte and the Philippine National Police to address the killings and harassment of barangay officials.

Sison named the two slain municipal employees as his driver Cesar Bong Teniente Jr. and bodyguard Jeric Uno Caguiao. They were shot to death on June 11 and Nov. 24 respectively.
