While satisfied with the country's performance in SEAGames2019, Senate President Tito Sotto says how the budget was spent is a different issue that needs to be looked into

— Senate President Vicente"Tito" Sotto III on Tuesday assured that the billions of pesos spent for the country's hosting of the Southeast Asian Games will be scrutinized.

"There would be an accounting. Let me call it that. Perhaps there should be an accounting of the expenses paid and it should not have anything to do with the games," Sotto said in a media briefing."Iba 'yung issue na 'yun ."

So money spent feeding the foreign athletes will be disapproved, right? The host country does not need to feed the participants in the event. Ang mga dapat pakainin lang ang mga organizers, senators, congressman, at cabinet members. Mga volunteers hindi rin.
