Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III welcomed Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso joining the 2022 presidential race.
“The more, the merrier. [There will be] More to choose from,” Sotto said in a text message, when asked to comment on Domagoso’s announcement of his presidential bid. Ong ran for senator in the 2019 midterm elections and landed at the 18th spot with over 7.4 million votes.
